Fuel Tank Technician / Production Line Technician (Full Training Provided) - Ref: ATL-Tech1

Package:

  • Standard Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • Starting Pay: £9.00 per hour - up to £27,000
  • Overtime paid at time and a half during peak season

Prerequisites

Summary of Duties

  • Successful candidates will receive all the training required to be capable of hand crafting a high quality fuel bladder from start to finish, with little or no assistance.
  • Technicians are required to meet deadlines and maintain fair and demonstrated schedules.
  • They are required to follow best practice and present products in a Quality Assured manner.
  • They should strive to become fully versed in all aspects of bladder manufacturing including all material types.
  • Technicians will define their own progression within the business depending on how motivated, committed and driven they are.

Design Engineers - Ref: ATL-DES1

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • Degree qualified with minimum of one year's relevant industry experience.
  • Catia V5 or NX experience.
  • Knowledge of part modelling, surface modelling, assembly creation and 2D drafting.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Well adapted to work independently and also in a team environment.
  • Well justified decision making skills.

Summary of Duties

  • Required to produce high-quality templates for Cell Manufacture, with accurate models, digital representations, drawings and information for the Operations area to follow.
  • Required to document designs and systems throughout the departmental lifecycle to ensure customer's requirements are met and follow company standards.
  • Required to develop job knowledge in all areas of Fuel Cell, Systems and Component Design, and continually progress their engineering capabilities.
  • Required to provide Sales Office with Design information based on sound engineering judgement to assist with quotes on upcoming prototypes and returned cells.
  • Required to assist the Design Manager with general departmental duties; management, procedural development etc. where necessary.

Technical Buyer - Ref: ATL-TB1

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 /year

Job Purpose

  • Sourcing ATL designed components which could be (but not limited to) a range of machined, fabricated, 3D printed, laser cut & composite parts;
  • Working with the ATL Design Team to source suitable suppliers for proprietary components where required;
  • Work with suppliers strategically to ensure on time delivery to best price while considering quality;
  • Using internal KPI’s work with the ATL Quality Team to react to any supplier quality concerns and ATL the rest of the Supply Chain team regards delivery issues;
  • Work with the rest of the Supply Chain team to ensure Supplier Quality Assurance documentation is maintained in accordance with our ISO9001:2015 QMS requirements.

Main Duties

  • Utilising ATL drawings and CAD models select relevant suppliers and manage RFQ’s applying the three quote principle to all parts;
  • Develop all existing ATL suppliers while bringing on new where required;
  • Work with Head of Supply Chain and Sales Administrator to manage the daily workload of the Logistics team;
  • Deal with or redirect supplier queries as required;
  • Ensure that the Buyer’s workload is managed, sharing responsibilities as required;
  • Running MRP once per week to ensure regular verification of purchasing of all business need otherwise covered by Buyer;
  • Manage the Supplier Matrix Database ensuring that it is up to date at all time respond business need or weaknesses identified as required.

Health & Safety Officer - Ref: ATL-HS1

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up To £30,000.00 per annum

Job Purpose

  • Liaise with all Department Heads to ensure a consistent H&S standard throughout the company;
  • Liaise with the Directors and Heads of Department to inform of any H&S legislation changes affecting any area of the company;
  • Manage contractors to arrange routine and ad-hoc building maintenance;
  • Assist with the management of any building or projects as required;
  • Manage preventative maintenance of all equipment and machinery throughout the business;
  • Manage overall responsibility of housekeeping team;
  • Consult with relevant external sources regarding Fire Alarms, Insurance and Training.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day Health & Safety within ATL Ltd;
  • Carry out Health & Safety inspections, audits and checks;
  • Responsible for maintaining all Accident Reports and Near Miss forms and communicating these to the relevant Heads of Department and Directors;
  • Monitor legislation changes and implement changes to policies as required;
  • Where legislation may affect process, work with relevant staff to ensure process change is delivered in a timely manner;
  • Manage contractors on site Health and Safety requirements;
  • Ensure Preventative Maintenance and Service Contracts are maintained throughout the business;
  • Monitor and maintain COSHH documentation;
  • Monitor and maintain Risk Assessments;
  • Work with managers to ensure the implementation of new Risk Assessments or the update of existing at least annually;
  • Work with the Chief Fire Marshall to ensure all related tasks are complete including regular review of the Fire Risk Assessment;
  • Ensure fire drills are carried out as required;
  • Responsible for the up-keep of all H&S related equipment including but not limited to emergency lighting, firefighting equipment, ladder and fire doors;
  • Carry out the Health and Safety and Manual Handling aspect of the new starter induction;
  • Ensure all PPE is issued, in good condition and replaced as necessary;
  • Management of Housekeeping team and ensuring these activities are undertaken.

IT & Systems Controller - Ref: ITSC01 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up To £35,000

Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Experience:

  • Hardware and software support: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Relevant professional: 2 years (Required)

Job Purpose

  • To provide first line IT Hardware & Software support for all departments;
  • To act as the internal IT system administrator for all internal servers, network infrastructure, telephony and business systems;
  • Be champions for SmarTeam and Factory Master;
  • Training new users on systems;
  • Liaise with IT service provider.

Main Duties

  • Responsible for understanding ATL infrastructure estate and to be single point of contact to our IT managed service provider;
  • Act as first point of contact for all IT support issues and offering resolution for internal staff, and escalating to external support provider as required;
  • Complete PC builds for new or existing users;
  • The management of system access rights in line with ATL’s Information & IT Security Policy;
  • Assist all staff as necessary with compliance to ATL’s Data Transfer & sharing Security Policy;
  • Champion of SmarTeam and Factory Master, plus any new ERP systems introduced;
  • Liaise with HR to ensure that leavers are managed effectively within all business systems;
  • Monitor business system changes ensuring a patch management policy is utilised to prevent system changes causing any delays the ATL’s business as usual;
  • Ownership of ATL’s IT network map and future IT roadmap;
  • Provide training to users on the key systems we use and how this relates to the manufacturing lifecycle of ATL;
  • To work with the Technical Project Manager to ensure the most effective delivery of projects into business systems;
  • Project manage system upgrades or introductions;
  • Keeping Business Continuity plans up to date for IT;
  • Action ad-hoc IT requests e.g. GDPR
  • To ensure all ATL IT related hardware is managed in the most effective manner;
  • Liaise with external third parties to deliver the most effective systems and services to all staff within ATL;
  • Seek new initiatives to ensure efficiencies within all systems and processes are highlighted.

Final Assembly Manager - Ref: FASM01

Job Purpose:

  • The effective management of the Final Assembly department and its interactions with other areas within ATL;
  • Ensuring the quality of the work of all technicians within the team meets the required standard;
  • Providing training and support for all team members;
  • Taking responsibility for the documentation of all prototype jobs and up-issues as they are built;
  • Working with the planning team to maintain and review production plans ensuring the most effective allocation of human resource and equipment;
  • Manage the non-conformance process within the department;
  • Represent Final Assembly at production meetings, ensure the department schedule is on track and any questions regarding new or existing orders are raised and answered and risks or issues escalated.

Main Duties:

  • Responsible for distributing work to Technicians, supervise and monitor staff to ensure they are working to procedure at all times and aid them to operate in the most efficient way;
  • Guide prototype manufacture ensuring release feedback and any work instruction updates are completed, manufacturing routes and BoM’s are accurate, and that all manufacturing feedback is communicated using the correct process;
  • Ensure all products have been checked before being processed to QC, ensuring all items in the BoM have been issued and all operations completed;
  • Liaise with relevant parties to highlight any servicing and calibration requirements within the department are met;
  • Liaise with the Planning Team to keep the schedule review and optimise production schedules;
  • Aid in the development of department processes and procedures;
  • Liaise with the Design Office in any R&D tasks as required;
  • Responsible for the continual training of all department staff and to maintain the Final Assembly Technician training log;
  • Liaise with the Suppliers to ensure any departmental tooling needs are met;
  • Ensure all Technicians work safely and in accordance with the company Health & Safety policy;
  • Assisting with conducting appraisals for Final Assembly staff.

  • Ownership of all Final Assembly procedures, work instructions and processes;
