Trainee Bladder Production Technicians - Ref: ATL-CP1

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Starting Pay: £8.50 per hour, depending upon experience, with possible progression up to £9.00 per hour once initial training has been passed.

Interview: Practical assessment

Prerequisites

  • Relevant hands on experience (work experience or recreational).
  • Dexterity;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to follow instructions;
  • Ability to commit to a fair and demonstrated schedule;
  • Full training is provided.

Summary of Duties

  • Successful candidates will receive all the training required to be capable of hand crafting a high quality fuel bladder from start to finish, with little or no assistance.
  • Technicians are required to meet deadlines and maintain fair and demonstrated schedules.
  • They are required to follow best practice and present products in a Quality Assured manner.
  • They should strive to become fully versed in all aspects of bladder manufacturing including all material types.
  • Technicians will define their own progression within the business depending on how motivated, committed and driven they are.

Design Engineers - Ref: ATL-DES1

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • Degree qualified with minimum of one year's relevant industry experience.
  • Catia V5 or NX experience.
  • Knowledge of part modelling, surface modelling, assembly creation and 2D drafting.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Well adapted to work independently and also in a team environment.
  • Well justified decision making skills.

Summary of Duties

  • Required to produce high-quality templates for Cell Manufacture, with accurate models, digital representations, drawings and information for the Operations area to follow.
  • Required to document designs and systems throughout the departmental lifecycle to ensure customer's requirements are met and follow company standards.
  • Required to develop job knowledge in all areas of Fuel Cell, Systems and Component Design, and continually progress their engineering capabilities.
  • Required to provide Sales Office with Design information based on sound engineering judgement to assist with quotes on upcoming prototypes and returned cells.
  • Required to assist the Design Manager with general departmental duties; management, procedural development etc. where necessary.

Production Coordinator - Ref: ATL-PRO2

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role or relevant degree.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Good written and spoken communicational skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer and administrative skills.
  • The ability to use your own initiative.

Summary of Duties

  • Work with department managers and production planner to optimise production planning.
  • Lead daily production meetings escalating due-date accomplishment concerns where necessary.
  • Create and maintain all Works Orders.
  • Maintain Works Order operations.

Quality Inspector - Ref: ATL-QC1

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • 2 years' experience in a Mechanical Engineering or Production environment with exposure to basic metrology.
  • A strong desire to develop new skills in a Quality critical environment.
  • Process driven mind-set with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Mechanical aptitude/sympathy.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Excellent computer and administration skills.
  • The ability to use your own initiative.

Summary of Duties

  • Mechanical Inspection.
  • Incoming materials testing.
  • Outbound product non-destructive testing.
  • Part processing including part marking.
  • Assessment of bladder systems returned for repair/re-certification.

Training will be provided.

·         Representing Final Assembly at production meetings, monitoring schedules both current and future.

·         Prioritising work through the department including liaising with other department managers to ensure arrival of goods is accounted for in daily plans.

·         Conducting appraisals for Final Assembly staff as well as monitoring progression plans.

·         Maintaining all Final Assembly Technician training and capability logs.

·         Responsible for the development of procedures and processes within the department.

·         Liaising with the Head of Operations and the HR team in administrating HR documents and dealing with ongoing resource reviews.
