Trainee Fuel Tank Production Technicians - Ref: ATL-Tech1

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Flexible Hours: Able to work full time hours to suit, either 6am – 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 10pm. Pre-requisite is during training period in first 2 months you must work 8am - 4:30pm

Starting Pay: (£9.00 per hour) £18,720 up to £27,000 , Overtime paid at time and a half during peak season

Prerequisites

  • Relevant hands on experience (work experience or recreational).
  • Dexterity;

  • Full training is provided.

Summary of Duties

  • Successful candidates will receive all the training required to be capable of hand crafting a high quality fuel bladder from start to finish, with little or no assistance.
  • Technicians are required to meet deadlines and maintain fair and demonstrated schedules.
  • They are required to follow best practice and present products in a Quality Assured manner.
  • They should strive to become fully versed in all aspects of bladder manufacturing including all material types.
  • Technicians will define their own progression within the business depending on how motivated, committed and driven they are.

Design Engineers - Ref: ATL-DES1

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • Degree qualified with minimum of one year's relevant industry experience.
  • Catia V5 or NX experience.
  • Knowledge of part modelling, surface modelling, assembly creation and 2D drafting.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Well adapted to work independently and also in a team environment.
  • Well justified decision making skills.

Summary of Duties

  • Required to produce high-quality templates for Cell Manufacture, with accurate models, digital representations, drawings and information for the Operations area to follow.
  • Required to document designs and systems throughout the departmental lifecycle to ensure customer's requirements are met and follow company standards.
  • Required to develop job knowledge in all areas of Fuel Cell, Systems and Component Design, and continually progress their engineering capabilities.
  • Required to provide Sales Office with Design information based on sound engineering judgement to assist with quotes on upcoming prototypes and returned cells.
  • Required to assist the Design Manager with general departmental duties; management, procedural development etc. where necessary.

Quality Supervisor - Ref: ATL-Tech2

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Job Purpose

  • To manage all inspection elements of the Quality department with direct responsibility for Quality Engineers and Inspectors;
  • To work with the Principle Quality Engineer, Production Engineer and Operational department managers to deal with any issues identified through inspection;
  • To ensure that the Quality Control Manual is continually updated in line with business needs and changes;
  • To ensure Quality staff are completing proactive in process checks throughout all operational departments;
  • To monitor production schedules and report departmental progress, concerns or issues daily;
  • To represent the Quality department at the all production and planning meetings;
  • To manager the destructive testing on Raw Material samples as required;
  • To work with the rest of the Quality team to deliver Continual Improvement across the department.

Prerequisites

  • Must have strong mechanical understanding;
  • Quality department workload / resource management;
  • Process driven;
  • Promote Continual Improvement throughout the business;
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Ownership of tasks from start to finish;
  • Must have strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage workload;
  • Be able to use their initiative to keep all processes moving.

Summary of Duties

  • Ensure that all production areas Quality Control requirements are supported;
  • Work with the Stores team to support their needs, ensuring the correct prioritising of Goods In inspection in line with schedule requirements;
  • Assist the Head of Quality in ensuring all calibration is up to date throughout the business;
  • Produce inspection reports on items requiring First Article Inspection;
  • Ensure that all QMS critical logs including (but not limited to) those for FIA serial numbers and bond viscosity are maintained with accuracy;
  • Manage the inspection, marking & processing of Bladders through to Final Assembly from Cell Production in a timely and prioritised manner;
  • Manage inspection, marking & processing of Bladders through to Despatch from Cell Production or Final Assembly in a timely and prioritised manner;
  • Escalate and Quality concerns or risks to the Head of Quality;
  • Conducting pressure tests on Bladders and Fabricated parts;
  • Raise Internal and Supplier rejects ensuring the relevant policies and processes are managed.

Fuel Tank Technician / Production Line Technician (Full Traininh Provided) - Ref: ATL-Tech3

Package:

  • Standard Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

·         Maintaining all Final Assembly Technician training and capability logs.

·         Responsible for the development of procedures and processes within the department.

·         Liaising with the Head of Operations and the HR team in administrating HR documents and dealing with ongoing resource reviews.
